I wanted to blog on Thursday, but the day quickly passed by; too busy to sit down for a few minutes, and then Friday rolled around and I just couldn't fit it in...oh the weekend, that was another story in itself. Monday and Tuesday were full days as well...so here I am Wednesday, finally trying to catch up on things. The truth is that each of the days I mentioned deserve a post in itself but ... I'll have to do a lame substitute and just record a few highlights.
I love living.
On Friday the Lord did something very neat. I'll try to keep it short since I don't want to bore anyone.
The realator lady that helped us find this house, presently our home, showed up at our door a couple months ago, no call, no meeting just out of the blue, a year an half after we had met her for the first and only time. She couldn't talk, only whisper; she had cancer in her throught and wanted us to pray for her, since we weren't expecting any visitors that morning, only me and Cristal were home. We put our hands on top of her and prayed. She's completely healed.
She's started to come for Bible classes and wants to help and do more for the Lord.
Over the weekend we had a visit from an AM couple from Toluca, it was a little bit of a forsaking for everybody in the home since that ment no family day or freeday, because we would have to be tunning in to the visitors. Sacrifices for the Lord sure pay in the end though, since freeday was out of the question we organized a felloship for the closer friends of the home on Saturday evening, turned out to be lots of fun, we had home made pizza and just enjoyed the get together.
We had to go to Mexico City for the baby's paperwork and the Lord so sweetly timed it perfectly so we could attend a party there. I really personally enjoyed the felloship, got to catch up and spend time with good old friends , it was simply NICE.
We spend Monday and Tuesday in embassys and there's nothing interesting about running around in hot stuffy metros and buses, standing in lines and filling forms so I'll skip all that part. TTL everything went well. I'm glad it's over with.
Oh and I almost forgot, my other kids, did really well in their final school test. I'm so proud of them. They can't wait for school to end and vacations to start, I don't blame them, they've worked hard and I have to admit I'm feeling a little claustrophobic myself, can't wait to get out of the classroom. I'll leave you with some pictures of the party, everyone had to wear a mask.
Unique and original
And I got to see Joy...yay!! Love you girl. Don't mind my scary mask.
And turns out a few people didn't have masks on, so I ended up doing some face paints. It was fun, hadn't done it in years.
Francesco...from Lithuania, poor thing I kept on thinking he was from Latvia.
And this is Tuesday ..I was tired.
