Sand boxes can keep my children entertained for hours at a time. Their favourite park in the city has one. For family day we planned carefully to go there trying hard to beat the afternoon rain, so we went in the morning, sounds simple enough but it's quite the ordeal to go out anywere by myself with the kids, stroller, diapper bags, water lets just say it takes carefull thought and planning. Just when Igot my license, our car so happens to not be home. So it's buses, walking and ocasional taxis. Beeing the unafraid, independent person I am, transportation is no obstacle for going places and doing things. So family day was a succes. TTL!
I took advantage of local technology and used this sarape to carry Ayleen aroud, so much more uncomplicated then carrying the stroller everywhere. It was surprisingly confortable and she had a good almost two hour nap in it . She looked so cozy in there. The last picture is of her while napping.

She is such a big baby..how do you carry her around?!
Becoming one! That's really cool, I've seen them around didn't think you'd want to use one. we should get one.
She sure is getting big, how much does she weigh these days? It wasn't hard to carry her around in it?
Ohhh yay for you!!! Babywearing is addicting and once you get the little tricks you could probably carry her in it till she's well into her 2nd year.
In case you are interested here is a little tutorial for different carries with the sarape (I believe it's the same as the Rebozo). If you tie it just below your shoulder like she does you'll find that's it's more comfortable.

thanks Loxy for that link, it was very interesting and I'm for sure gonna be trying some of those knots.
Super cute. The little boy looks so much like you.
