Made some goodies with Ayleen and Leire.

Accident Week.

Highlights of the last week or so:
 1.We sold our Mobile home.
2.Bought a Mazda minivan.
3.Alex got 6 stitches on his knee and had to get a Dtap shot.
4.School is out, ...welcome summer,we've done a fair bit of swimming already.
5.Benni got two special awards at school... A/B roll and 5ht place in reading.
6.Nate had a motorcycle accident and hurt his wrist and ankle.
7.I got sting by a scorpion.
8. Jesse Dieter graduated ...I'm so very proud of him.

The girls and I made some goodies ...they came out delicious.

Beloved Pet

I read some short inspirational stories to the kids during dinner, among them this one.... "The children begged for a hamster, and after the usual fervent vows that they alone would care for it, they got one. They named it Danny. Two months later, when Mom found herself responsible for cleaning and feeding the creature, she located a prospective new home for it. The children took the news of Danny's Imminent departure quite well, though one of them remarked,"He's been around here a long time, we'll miss him" "Yes", Mom replied, "But he's too much work for one person,and since I'm that one person, I say he goes". Another child offered,"well maybe if he wouldn't eat so much and wouldn't be so messy , we could keep him". But mom was firm. "it's time for take Danny to his new home now", she insisted "Go and get his cage". With one voice and a tearful outrage the children shouted, "Danny? we thought you said Daddy!" ....funny enough I was the only one laughing while my children looked at me with puzzled faces. I know, I have a unique sense of humor. Hah!

Mother's Day

Had a great Mother's day ... spend the day with good friends and family, we watched "We bought a Zoo", barbecued and treated ourselves to smores.

Projects

Did a little work on refinishing the windows,I guess I should have taken some pictures of the before so you could appreciate the "in between" and then really appreciate the "after", oh well, it was an after thought. Leire strolled in right where I was working when I had all the tools and pieces of sheet rock on the floor and dust mud everywhere and said "Oh no, your making a mess again!", " Your such a mess maker"... hah!.. she's probably heard that once too many times from mommy:-)

Pampering my girls

Lazy Sunday afternoon, the girls and I treated ourselves to pedis and facials... Baba took ocasional bites at her cucumber, she looked so cute all green.
