A family one.
Happy Birthday to Timothy also.

A Benji one.

A present one. He plays with these blocks all time.

An older one, I was looking through his baby pictures the other day, I thought to share one with you. That's Alex at 8 months . He absolutely loved playing with balls.

Growing up.

My baby can ride his bike with no training wheels. I'm so proud of him. He'd been asking to take them off for a few days and he just took off...I'll post a little video of it if I can figure out how to upload it.

Happy Birthday Grandpa.

We were blessed to have Grandpa during June 14th, his birthday, which makes this a belated birthday post.
We love you so much, we pray you have the best year yet. We weren't able to fit all the candles in the cake but the ones we did fit, all the kids helped to blow.

We will miss you both a lot, Christian and Heidi, praying for your new situation that it can be fulfilling and fruitful and all that you had hoped for.
My son expressed his feelings so well...
Alex asked me while I was tucking him in bed the other night if grandpa was coming back, I told him probably not for a while. He looked at me with sad puppy eyes and sayd...but mommy he's not gonna be able to take care of me anymore... I love him so much!!.

Alis Artwork

This is actually a full wall in our last house. Sad
thing was when we left we had to leave it. lol

This is my first post on Alis blog. The reason I am is because I've been trying to get Ali to post pictures of her paintings for a while now but she never has time so I thought I'd do it for her. I think I"m her biggest fan.

Driving.

I'm half way through my driving course, it makes me happy to finally be doing something about it, I mean about driving, one of those things I've put off for too long in my life . I'm taking lessons first thing in the morning so it doesn't interfire with the home's regular schedule.

I think I'm getting more confident with the gears and the clutch even though today the car choked twice on a "tope"( speed bump)and then stopped..I know... sad...I shouldn't be doing things like that. Been practicing how to drive up hill and I'm having a hard time going on reverse, must practice some more... oh well I will eventually get it down.

A sad thought is that I won't be able to do my 20 hours of practice that I need to do to became a family driver before Nate leaves, since he won't be able to drive with me, and I highly doubt any other of the guys would want to take me driving, that makes me sad, it means I won't be able to drive for another good while. Patience, patience, patience...

Zoo and felloship.

For family day we took the children to the zoo, they loved it. It was lots of fun and since it wasn't so sunny it was perfect, in the afternoon we had felloship with the other home here. They just moved houses. Perfect day.

That was Benji's face after looking at the snakes and lizzards.

Lions doing what they do.

The girls from the other home did a special dance they've been practicing.. so cute!!.

A little bit of everything.

I wanted to blog on Thursday, but the day quickly passed by; too busy to sit down for a few minutes, and then Friday rolled around and I just couldn't fit it in...oh the weekend, that was another story in itself. Monday and Tuesday were full days as well...so here I am Wednesday, finally trying to catch up on things. The truth is that each of the days I mentioned deserve a post in itself but ... I'll have to do a lame substitute and just record a few highlights.

I love living.

On Friday the Lord did something very neat. I'll try to keep it short since I don't want to bore anyone.
The realator lady that helped us find this house, presently our home, showed up at our door a couple months ago, no call, no meeting just out of the blue, a year an half after we had met her for the first and only time. She couldn't talk, only whisper; she had cancer in her throught and wanted us to pray for her, since we weren't expecting any visitors that morning, only me and Cristal were home. We put our hands on top of her and prayed. She's completely healed.
She's started to come for Bible classes and wants to help and do more for the Lord.

Over the weekend we had a visit from an AM couple from Toluca, it was a little bit of a forsaking for everybody in the home since that ment no family day or freeday, because we would have to be tunning in to the visitors. Sacrifices for the Lord sure pay in the end though, since freeday was out of the question we organized a felloship for the closer friends of the home on Saturday evening, turned out to be lots of fun, we had home made pizza and just enjoyed the get together.

We had to go to Mexico City for the baby's paperwork and the Lord so sweetly timed it perfectly so we could attend a party there. I really personally enjoyed the felloship, got to catch up and spend time with good old friends , it was simply NICE.

We spend Monday and Tuesday in embassys and there's nothing interesting about running around in hot stuffy metros and buses, standing in lines and filling forms so I'll skip all that part. TTL everything went well. I'm glad it's over with.

Oh and I almost forgot, my other kids, did really well in their final school test. I'm so proud of them. They can't wait for school to end and vacations to start, I don't blame them, they've worked hard and I have to admit I'm feeling a little claustrophobic myself, can't wait to get out of the classroom. I'll leave you with some pictures of the party, everyone had to wear a mask.

Unique and original

And I got to see Joy...yay!! Love you girl. Don't mind my scary mask.

And turns out a few people didn't have masks on, so I ended up doing some face paints. It was fun, hadn't done it in years.

Francesco...from Lithuania, poor thing I kept on thinking he was from Latvia.

And this is Tuesday ..I was tired.
